After the finale of that clean cut, explanation video that showed the ins and outs of the new Apple iPad, many people were a little torn as to how they actually felt.
Some were ecstatic, especially when the product officially released, because all the technology that was seen in such movies as “Minority Report” and “Avatar” – primarily those portable, interactive screens – was now being utilized in real life.
Others, however, were a little let down, believing the iPad to be a downgrade from the iPhone, since it lacked a video camera.
Regardless of opinions, it is undeniable that the iPad has revolutionized computer and Internet navigation technology.
Acting basically as a laptop without a keyboard, since one is built in on the screen, the iPad is the ultimate, portable way to surf the Web.
People can check email, manage their photos and music, download movies or even read the daily newspaper with ease on its 9.7-inch screen.
Not to mention that with its small size and affordable price, it will soon become the most prevalent item seen in any businessman’s briefcase or gadget lover’s backpack. And, as an added bonus, the iPad is now compatible with VoIP.

As already stated, one of the biggest issues with Apple’s release of the product was the fact that it lacked a camera, making it incompatible with video chat services like Skype. But with the recent news that the company is allowing VoIP to be utilized over the product’s 3G network, those naysayers are going to have a harder time expressing their negative opinions.
Since Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP) utilizes high-speed Internet connections to breakdown conversations into data, transmit them over the Web and then reassemble them back into sounds when arriving at a telephone, the iPad is now going to be one of the more preferred methods for communicating for both businessmen and gadget lovers. Since laptops simply add extra weight to baggage, the iPad will be the perfect substitute for anyone traveling or moving around a lot.
So, adding a working telephone with an actual phone number and answering machine will allow mobile individuals to stay mobile and always be in reach.Plus, with call forwarding and the “find me” feature VoIP can transfer any home phone calls directly to the iPad if out of town.
That way, no important calls will ever be missed; individuals will always be up-to-date on all family happenings and business related matters. And if any voicemails do happen to make it through, VoIP allows users to check them through Web sites, so any urgency will never go unnoticed.
Granted, using the actual device to call others may appear to be a little awkward, since its size is a lot larger than an actual cell phone. At the same time, however, those gigantic brick cell phones were one of the biggest things in the 1980s.
Honestly, how cool were those? Therefore, people using the device to make phone calls could become the new trendsetters of the future, shifting the technological culture from smaller to bigger.

Modu has partnered a retailer store in Australia, Mobicity to sale the Modu device for 150$ and 50$ for the jackets.
This partnership  comes ofter the launch of Modu in 8 countries including Philippines, Brazil, India and more.
According to the Israeli newspaper Calcalist the company sales are increasing and it is estimated to hit millions of dollar.

But if you go back to the very start when Modu was everywhere on the 2008 MWC, throughout those days after the latest congress, Modu’s future is still unclear to say the least.
The Company started with a big promise and today it is selling a 2.5G device in developing countries, and as for the second generation, the CEO Dov Moran holds one device in his pocket, the reports says, but it was never shown to the public.
But there is more fundamental issue, the smartphone scene is blooming whereas feature phones are slowly going out of the picture.
That is the main problem of Modu from my point of view, the concept of one base device with the ability to change “identities”  is not working, not in a time when all mobile manufactures are building one device that does all.
I was very pleased to hear  that Modu is going to adopt Android as it OS, but as it seems Modu did not stand up to the peace.
Furthermore the world is not waiting for Modu, SK just announced a sim card that includes a OS, CPU and a gigabyte of flash storage is it sound familiar?

Do not get me wrong Modu is not heading to the deadpool , they can still become the best low-end device out there, and some final words I still hope someone in Modu will wake up, i hope it is still not too late.
