Microsoft will use InfoGin’s platform for its Live mobile search engine.
The InfoGin platform IMP (Intelligent Mobile Platform) optimizes websites for mobile devices.
As the mobile web develops, more and more mobile devices are pre-installed with a sophisticated mobile browser.
But that is just not enough for the vast devices that are not equipped with a “smart browser”. InfoGin brings to this deal its experience in adjustment web content to the mobile device, even in such cases where the mobile device runs a limited browser.
Microsoft desires its Live search to be optimized for mobile phones and not to count on the mobile device browser.

For InfoGin it is not the first time for working with a mobile search engine.
It has done it in the past in 2005 with AOL.
Microsoft understands the potential of mobile search, and would not like to trudge after Yahoo and Google.
InfoGin’s technology will help Microsoft Live search engine to be displayed on any mobile device no matter what.
That is a good start for a company that would like to become a “Mobile” Google.
